The bombardments of worldwar 2 spared the Northern part of the city, named; 'Kreuz Viertel'.
There were built many houses in Jugendstil.
After the war, Münster restorated its wounded medieval cityheart and profiled itself with that in a touristic way.
No word about the Jugendstil....
So it is the best kept secret that there is a real treasure chamber of Jugendstil architecture overthere.
